Location: Assiniboine Park

 

10:00- 11:00 AM REGISTRATION

Our day begins by registering for our walk (if not done already) at Assiniboine Park Conservatory Tent where our friendly volunteers collect the registration fee, provide participants with a Manitoba Brain Injury T-shirt, as well as guide and answers any questions participants may have before the walk begins.

*please note the registration fee is $20.0 0 and is required for individuals to receive a T-shirt and formally join us in the walking portion of the day*

*T-shirts are available in sizes S-3 XL while quantities last*

11:00 -11:15 AM WELCOME

Once everyone is settled, and registered, our generous MC’s from Now Country 104.7 will offer our warmest welcome, provide participants with instruction on who to follow for 3 or 5 K, and thank all the supporters attending.

11:15 AM WARM UP

11:30 AM MC TIME TO WALK!

MC from Now Country will inform walkers to approach their designated sides for 3 and 5 k and give us the go ahead to begin!

12:30-1:30 PM  LIGHT LUNCH

Once walkers have completed the course, they can make their way back over to the Assiniboine Park Conservatory tent where a light lunch will be served by MBIA Staff and volunteers!

1:30-2:00 PM  DRAWS AND PRESENTATION OF PRIZES
