Lisa Hutton

Lisa’s interests vary from being a dance teacher, a Stott Pilates instructor, a recreational runner, a Bachelor of Commerce graduate and a physiotherapist. Since an early age she has been passionate about health, fitness, dance and the benefits of physiotherapy. In 2001, she graduated from the Asper School of Business, worked in Taiwan for 1 year teaching Business English and returned to Canada and worked as a Foreign Exchange Broker for 3 years.. In 2006 she went back to school to become a physiotherapist and graduated from University of Manitoba in 2009 with a Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation in Physiotherapy. Since graduating she has worked in private practice physiotherapy. She enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic injuries and neurological conditions, but has taken a special in interest in chronic pain management and treatment, stroke and brain injury rehabilitation, Multiple Sclerosis rehabilitation and rehabilitation for dancers. She is certified in acupuncture and has taken several post-graduate courses in myofascial release, movement dysfunction, neurological rehabilitation and chronic pain management.
